We’re incredibly proud to support the 📝 Pods are Plastic Bill 📝 which was introduced to City Council today and would ban the sale of plastic (PVA) detergent pods and sheets in NYC. 🤔 Why do we need to ban pods and sheets? The plastic wrapping on laundry and dishwasher detergent pods and used to hold together laundry sheets (PVA) is actually a synthetic plastic made from petroleum that doesn’t readily biodegrade and is polluting our water and soil. 💪 Why is this bill important? This bill helps prevent plastic pollution and sends an important signal to businesses and individuals that plastic products should NOT be designed to go down our drains and pollute our waters and environment. 💻 How can I help?
